A statement from Julia & Anne

We are so honoured to tell you that the Royal British Legion is supporting us for this year’s ride on Sunday 18th March.

The Ride of Respect has achieved a place in the biker’s hearts -Royal Wootton Bassett especially.

In 2010, the first ride through RWB, no-one envisaged that it would be the biggest mass ride in biking history which saw over 22000 bikers taking part and raising well over £150,000 for charity and to thank Royal Wootton Bassett for the their care of our heroes that had paid the ultimate sacrifice for their country, their people their families and us.  As chaotic as it was on Hullavington that first ride, it was a great show of solidarity from the biking fraternity and many friendships were made that day along with the tears that were shed but an amazing experience of coming together as one. A day for saluting our troops has now been recognised.

We thank you for supporting the ride for the past 3 years - you all made it what it has become today.

Julia & Anne
